Good Morning America - For real this time
We’re on Good Morning America - TOMORROW

Peeps -

Remember waaaay back in the day when I was all, "OMGZ Daniel and I are going to be on Good Morning America - SQEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!"

And then the whole Burmese Monks thing happened and we were pushed back until further notice?

Further. Notice. Has. Arrived.

I got this email from the reporter tonight saying we'll be on the air tomorrow! That's 7am CST, or "Too damn early" for most folks, so Tivo or tape it if you can and watch us giggle hysterically about how ridiculously happy we are together.

Look for us top of the hour, second hour of programming, right after the weather and short newscast.

I'll tell ya, I'm bogged down with the worst flu in the history of flus, and this news just made my day.

Tune in if you can!

EDITED TO SAY:

it's online! (thanks, Todd!)

The Science Behind Falling in Love
Five Senses Important in Determining Your Perfect Love Match

By ANDREA CANNING
Jan. 17, 2008 —

So many factors go into falling in love, but new studies prove that it may be less about romance and more about science and that it all boils down to your five senses.

For Terry Ornelas falling in love was a scene straight out of a movie.

When she spotted Daniel Woodroffe across a crowded restaurant in Austin, Texas, she said "my insides just dissolved into butterflies."

"When he smiled it just made me so happy and it was such a strange emotion to have with somebody you've never spoken to before have met before I couldn't explain it," Ornelas said.

By the way - I too was once on Good Morning America. I don't remember how long ago it was, but I was young (early 20's or late teens). They had a camera crew travel around the country getting people to say, "Good Morning America!" I was with a group of about 30 people. It was a fun moment for a small town kid.

DUDE! I JUST SAW IT!

Yes, I am terribly excited about this. No, I never ever watch Good Morning America. Ever. Never even seen it before, but the tv was still on after a particularly bad movie (and it is... 5.35 in the morning, not my usual prime time), and I was vaguely following the story as it was a bit interesting, and then I looked at the screen and went "No. Way. No, it is! Squeeee!"

And then maybe I thought I was imagining things and so I came on here to see if you might have mentioned such a thing happening AND YOU DID.

So very exciting. You are officially internationally famous now, for at least the next 12 minutes!

YES! Why do we show Good Morning America? Who knows! I've certainly never seen it before, but I'm told it is on every day.

Here's the crazy thing -- the whole smell attraction and whatnot subject only caught my interest because my favourite radio show tonight had an anthropologist on talking about the very same subject. And so I was vaguely paying attention to the tv in the next room in case they talked to the same man. So I'm here glancing every minute or so at the screen, and not really listening, and I turn my head and look at the screen and think "Huh. She looks somewhat like Terry". Turned back to my computer, then hear "blah blah blah Terry and Daniel".

At which point I execute the most dramatic double-take of all time, possibly giving myself whiplash, while simultaneously leaping from my chair and vaulting into the lounge room to stare stunned at the screen while waving wildly and babbling "Buh.... that's Terry! Eee!", while the Houseboy looked at me strangely as I had just hurled myself across the room to announce the name of a person on television who has just had their name announced.

It was all quite thrilling, and the most bizarre and unexpected series of coincidental happenings, and I am taking it as an omen of improving fortunes. Because really, what are the chances of me actually seeing it? A show I've never watched, at a time I'm usually asleep, maybe the 4th time in two months I've looked at the tv, and I had no idea it was going to happen at all.

Sweet crazy universe, throwing things together just right. Makes me ever so happy.
