Did you know it is correct to say Attorneys General and not Attorney Generals?

The word "general" here is used as an adjective, unless the he/she is actually a military general. While the "Attorney Generals" usage is being used more and more these days, it is still considered incorrect.


So, kids, if you're ever in a situation where you need to introduce a group of Attorneys General to an audience, there ya go!

Yep, learned it on The West Wing. The same line of dialogue also taught me that its "courts martial" and not "court martials."

I keep thinking about getting the complete series box set, since the repeats are impossible to find (damn you, BRAVO!!!).

By the way, I hope you don't mind me commenting - I saw the post on the austin_texas friends' list. That, and the username caught my attention, 'cause of the Trekkie-ness.

Me, too. But then I think about other box sets I covet and then I wake up on the floor crying with a very wet thumb.

No minds, I'm a trekker. I'm having my third wedding (the first two are scheduled for April 08) on the captain's deck at the Star Trek Experience.

Quite possibly in true Betazoid fashion.

There are only a few of those big ass box sets I'd want to add to my library - Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Stargate SG-1, Homicide: Life on the Street, M*A*S*H and The West Wing. And if Cheers & Frasier release big ass box sets, I'll have to add 'em to the list, too.

Quite possibly in true Betazoid fashion.

Well, at least the bride's maids wont' be able to complain about the ugly dresses...
